Not sure that's really helping Vegas out. Not to mention Schmidt is locked up long term at a reasonable cap hit. If Vancouver was actually going after Barrie, they should be thrilled they ended up getting a way better defender in Schmidt. Oh i'm not talking about the player, it's great - and yeah, they dodged a bullet and should be thankful they didnt get Barrie.. It's just gonna suck for them when the trade off is going to be Schmidt being replaced by Pietro, because it makes their division rival much stronger..

Matthews34 1,173
Hate to say it, but the Sens have had a solid off-season surprisingly.

Outside of that Murray contract and trading for Gudbranson, I agree. They’re still fuckeats though. Edited October 15, 2020 by Morrison7
brocto 2,109
Boston and WPG frontrunners on Weegar, fuck. But now apparently Florida might have the cap space to sign Weegar, so who knows...

Might be just me, but 4 teams in 3 seasons isn’t a ringing endorsement.

Guy's who can play a tough game. I'm sure Ottawa knows they're going to be shit and miss the playoffs but they want to set a good culture in that room that includes working hard. Johnny's Home 5,875
The point remains. Ottawa being tougher to play against leaves room for their young players to develop with confidence. That type of culture vs. a culture of being pushed around is a very stark contrast. Doc J

Morrison7 12,342
Only worth mentioning seeing as Florida bought out Darling’s last contract and owe him 1.18M until 2023.
