  1. If you wanted to watch a game of football with plenty of skill, pace and lots of goals, should've just watched Bayern v Dortmund. What a game that was last night (other than having to watch Ribery/Robben fall over every time it got a little gusty...)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought it was a good move from the Browns for a change. Brock's contract has no guaranteed money after this season either. So you get a 2nd rounder, you get one season at $16m to decide if you like him as a potential QB for your franchise and he's an upgrade (minimal, but still an upgrade) on anything you've had for years.

What a game that was. Certainly lived up to the hype. Expecting something similar next week with Pack-Falcons.

Did we draft the same team TI? Watkins, Langford, Gurley... holy hell they are similar piles of shit.

So, final regular season fantasy update. Going into the weekend, I was bottom of the league for the 13th straight week BUT there was a glimmer of hope. It was a basement battle between myself and the guy in 7th, but should results fall my way, there was a chance I could still clinch a playoff spot. Anyway, my game was wrapped up by the end of the 4 o'clock games, win in the bag: check one. 6th place dude was an issue, he had the 2-0 record against me and would've been the one who could really screw me if he should win. However, he unfortunately for him, had both Mevlin Gordon and Matt For
  6. A lot of it comes with the number of teams. In the top American sports (NFL/NBA/NHL), there are only so many markets which seem to be able to sustain a top tier team. Whereas in the UK and most of the main European countries, the main sport is football. There is no real competition to it. As such, even the smallest of towns have a football team which they are (generally) able to manage and sustain. And this is why the promotion/relegation battles remain whilst they are non-factors and unlikely to ever work in the US (except maybe MLS). The only thing which *could* improve the curre

It's become sort of a Monday/Tuesday ritual at this point. Turn in fortunes has coincided with it, so I can't stop now anyways because who doesn't love a pointless superstition?

Can you say "win-streak"? Team went off last night, and that was with Dez Bryant on the bench of good measure. I joked that I could win 5 straight and finish 7-7... 2 down, 3 to go...?

    A 1-point win! Woo. 3-7 baby.

The NFL Royal Infirmary also has a shot - 11 point lead with only Eifert to play. Touch and go. Im also going to need a new team name - barring any injuries occurring... I *might* be fully healthy this week

Cowboys v Steelers - what an unbelievable game that was. Great to watch. On another note - Dolphins with 4 straight wins. Incredible. They are actually fun to watch.

Three weeks ago, guy put up 157 points on me. He had 63 and 71 in the following two weeks. Just way it seems to be going. I'm third in points scored and dead last. I'm two wins away from the nearest guy now.

Despite Latavius Murray going off and Jimmy Graham being "Saints Jimmy Graham", another 145 points against means the NFL Royal Infirmary remain last with a meagre 2 wins from 9 games. 1,180 points against in 9 games of standard scoring. It's just ridiculous now.

A win for the NFL Royal Infirmary this week appears to have come at a cost with another two injuries occurring for Jacquizz Rodgers and TY Hilton. I'm still going to be bottom despite the win. 2-6-0 though. Woop. Jordan Howard for Dez Bryant might be a touch of genius though.

I fell to 1-6. If only Harris had returned that Osweiler fumble. I lost by 3 points. Resigned to finishing last at this point. Such a solid team on paper yet cannot get any wins.
