Yes it’s apparent he never had the ability to shut things down when needed like almost every SC goalie since expansion minus maybe 10? Even Crawford had that ability. but now, he’s not even an average starting goalie any more and if he is done, we won’t even get to the playoffs let alone win anything. Surely the people who make their living on things like this can see it if we all can. I’d even go by as far as to say Dubas’ job depends on it and by proxy so does Keefe’s.

Andersen has been a very good goalie for us measurably for his first few seasons. On the back half of 2019 season, last season, and the beginning of this he’s declined, also measurably. You have to give a guy who was better than most NHL goalies time tbefore you replace him. Even though Covid has messed with hockey seasons this is now his third NHL season (2nd calendar year) where it’s been a whole bunch of wtf. Hopefully this is the beginning of a lot of games for Campbell. Not expecting it because there’s no reason to put expectations on Campbell except for being a solid backup. Just hoping is all. Freddy is Toskala at this point
