  1. They most certainly are. Despite the circumstances surrounding the reasons for it, this should provide some great entertainment.
  2. We may have to alter the core but the most tradeable is Nylander and no thanks on trading a value contract. Also, no thanks on getting diminished value for Marner, that would bite us hard. The new group has barely had time to form but we’ve see flashes of brilliance. Alter the goaltending and see where that takes us. There’s no way in hell Dubas puts his job in jeopardy over goaltending.

  4. Yes it’s apparent he never had the ability to shut things down when needed like almost every SC goalie since expansion minus maybe 10? Even Crawford had that ability. but now, he’s not even an average starting goalie any more and if he is done, we won’t even get to the playoffs let alone win anything. Surely the people who make their living on things like this can see it if we all can. I’d even go by as far as to say Dubas’ job depends on it and by proxy so does Keefe’s.
  5. @Morrison7 you want the honour or want me to see if I can dig something up?
  6. It’s been a solid almost two calendar years definitely not 3 seasons Im not sure you understand the impact a goalie not making the saves has on a team’s psyche but it seems like you’re hand waiving it
  7. Andersen has been a very good goalie for us measurably for his first few seasons. On the back half of 2019 season, last season, and the beginning of this he’s declined, also measurably. You have to give a guy who was better than most NHL goalies time tbefore you replace him. Even though Covid has messed with hockey seasons this is now his third NHL season (2nd calendar year) where it’s been a whole bunch of wtf. We have a 56 game season we simply cannot wait any longer to address this. Since he’s starting again tonight, If he has yet another bad game Dubas and Keefe have to act. They shou
  8. For fucksakes. Well hope he makes me look foolish tonight! Not holding my breath
  9. Such a marked decline in past two-ish seasons! Figured I’d start a thread so we don’t over toxify GDTs with the deserved hate. Morri posted a graphic showing a very measurable decline in his SV% #s. I’d love to see that with NHL league average sv% line drawn in over the same time period. I’m guessing it starts very well above league average then just tanks to well below over that time period. Frankly, It’s time to roll with Campbell but ultimately Dubas should be on the search too. No time for worrying about Andersen’s feelings we have to win hockey games and he gives
  10. I agree but they just had a really good game together so roll with it for awhile.
  11. So you simply cannot go back to Andersen. He is the most rotten piece of the puzzle. Also, as tough a few moments Brodie had last game, it was nice to see him comeback with the great game he had tonight. He will stabilize this d corps
  12. Hopefully this is the beginning of a lot of games for Campbell. Not expecting it because there’s no reason to put expectations on Campbell except for being a solid backup. Just hoping is all. Freddy is Toskala at this point
